0 *Senior Gastric Bypass (before and after pictures) for Roca LabsHi, Donna here. I am a 56 year old secretary for a major law firm, a mother, a grandmother, and wife. I live in Miami.

I’ve been overweight most of my adult life. It just seemed that after I got married and had a family, I felt content and stopped watching my weight. It just wasn’t a major issue for me anymore. I ate what I wanted, when I wanted.

It all changed when one day I was going clothes shopping with some friends, and I realized that I couldn’t find anything in the store that fit me! Over the years, I’d gained so much weight that I couldn’t shop where I wanted anymore. Now, I had to shop in stores where they sold plus-size clothes. I was so embarrassed and disappointed in myself that I decided that very day to do whatever I needed to lose the weight I had gained.

All the years that I wasn’t watching my weight, I’d always have snacks at my desk at work, whether candy bars or a bag of chips – I was always munching on something. At home, I wasn’t any better. I’d make big meals for my family, and eat like there was no tomorrow. Everyone had to finish their plate, and there was always room for dessert. Besides that, I love to spoil my grandkids with homemade cookies, and I didn’t mind spoiling myself as well.

Once I decided to lose weight, I knew that these habits would have to change. I tried many weight loss methods, but had little or no success. I went to Jenny Craig, but I found it hard to keep up with the weekly weigh-ins. I didn’t like the fact that I had to purchase their food. I had to make separate meals for myself and for my family. Since my meals were already prepared for me, this wasn’t teaching me how to eat healthy and make good food choices. I could lose some weight in the short term, but I didn’t want to be eating prepackaged meals the rest of my life.

I also tried the no-carb diet, but I felt deprived, and it left me craving all the foods I wasn’t allowed to eat, like bread and pasta. Who wants a cheeseburger minus the bun? NOT me! I lost weight with this program too, but with all the restrictions, I couldn’t stick to it. I eventually gained back what I had lost, plus more!

My doctor explained to me that my stomach had gotten larger after years of overeating – I needed a lot of food to feel satisfied. I was under the impression that I’d need gastric bypass surgery to reduce my stomach size, but then I found out that it was a major operation and I would never be approved, being only 40 pounds overweight. I was wondering how I could ever manage to achieve my goal, when a co-worker mentioned the RocaLabs formula to me. She said it was like having a gastric bypass, but without any surgery. It left only 20% of your stomach free for food, so you’d eat half as much and still feel satisfied.

She also said the formula was so easy to use that you didn’t even feel like you were dieting. You no longer had to count calories, and there were no food limitations.

It sounded great, and I decided to try it for myself. The formula is so versatile I could mix it with any drink I wanted, or even yogurt. After I took it in the morning, it had an immediate effect on me. I found that after only a few bites of a meal I already felt full, and all in all, I’d eat half of what I used to. Best of all, food is no longer on my mind all day. I feel in control.

With the RocaLabs formula I don’t have to give up any of the foods that I love. I still eat pizza, pasta, and occasionally a bowl of ice cream. My stomach is so small that whatever I eat, I automatically eat less. I don’t feel deprived – I’m satisfied with half a portion. There’s no more struggle.

After being on the formula for three months, my stomach size shrank, and even after I stopped using it, I continued to be satisfied with small meals. That’s what made my weight loss a success and easy to maintain. It’s been so simple to do, and it’s really changed my life.

I feel so good about myself now – I’m more confident and comfortable in my skin. Me being happier and more confident has given me a better relationship with my husband and family. I’m more active and don’t get tired out as quickly, and can now keep up with my grand babies! And I can finally go out shopping with friends, and fit into the clothes I want, without having to go to plus-size shops and feel embarrassed. Before, I was wearing size 16 pants, now (after the weight loss) I’m wearing size 6 [Shows pants]. I like the way I look, and I enjoy hearing all the compliments I’ve been getting from family, friends, and co-workers. My before and after pictures are unbelievable.

This is what it did for me, and I hope it will do the same for you.

Testimonial Mother Gastric Bypass formula (before and after pictures) for Roca Labs

Posted on February 7th, 2011 by admin in diet after gastric bypass | No Comments »

0 Testimonial Mother Gastric Bypass formula (before and after pictures) for Roca LabsMy name is Loren. I live in Miami and I have two beautiful sons. I’m a stay-at-home mom. My health is important to me, and I’ve always watched my weight, and most of the time, I was in control. When I became pregnant for the first time, I naturally ate more. With my second pregnancy though, things got out of hand: I couldn’t distinguish between the weight gain from the pregnancy and the weight gain from overeating. I was eating everything in sight, and my bad habits finally caught up with me. I was overweight, and embarrassed by my appearance.

After my son was born, I found that I had lost only 11 pounds. I was shocked, and I was embarrassed that I still weighed so much. I hoped no one would notice that I was still wearing my maternity clothes. I felt bad and unattractive. My husband was nice and didn’t say anything negative, but I knew it disturbed him as well. He said I was still attractive, but I didn’t feel like I was.

I immediately bought diet pills, but I didn’t like the side effects. I tried another kind, but they didn’t seem to have any effect at all. On my third and last try, I had to wait 2 months for results and honestly, I don’t have the time or the patience.

I tried counting calories, and I tried prepackaged diet meals, but I didn’t have the willpower to stick to either of them. I remember bringing a prepackaged meal with me to Thanksgiving dinner. It was embarrassing, and I was miserable. The entire time I was thinking, “I wish I could eat the same thing as everyone else!”

Dieting was a constant battle, and it went on like that for 6 months. I was definitely overweight, but I wasn’t obese, so gastric bypass surgery wasn’t even an option. But I felt like I needed something strong, that would work right away. I wanted something powerful to control my urge for food.

Finally a friend of mine, Sharon, who worked as a nurse, told me about the RocaLabs formula. Sharon explained to me that it was a natural but very strong formula that doesn’t require any prescription. She said the formula creates a natural gastric bypass effect and physically decreases the size of your stomach, leaving only 20% available for food intake.

I was breastfeeding at the time, so I had some concerns about what I was putting into my body – I didn’t want to pass on anything harmful to my child. Sharon reassured me that the formula was safe not only for me, but for my baby as well.

I’d been through my share of programs that didn’t work, so I was skeptical. But this sounded different than everything else I had tried, and I knew it had worked for Sharon, so I decided to give it a go.

I started using the formula and would mix it in the morning with apple juice. I loved the taste of it and immediately after taking it, I felt the gastric bypass effect working! It was so strong, I was forced to eat half of what I used to. From the first day, I was already eating less and losing weight!

When I got the package, I was also surprised to find an extra red pouch with an Anti-Cravings supplement, which I hadn’t even seen online. I mixed it with water and took it after I had the formula. I was amazed at how it made my cravings go away. It took three or four days to feel the effect, but when I did, it was really strong, and it really helped me eliminate all the snacks I was eating.

The formula was just what I needed to control my appetite, and change my poor eating habits. But I never feel deprived, because I could still eat all the foods that I like, just in smaller portions. And since my cravings for snacks were gone, I came to enjoy healthy foods more. Instead of grabbing a bag of chips, I grab an apple instead.

It’s been 6 months since I stopped using the formula. I lost a total of 25 pounds, and I haven’t gained it back. I don’t have to diet anymore, because my stomach is smaller. I also look better, and I’m feeling fantastic! I have an improved self image, and my confidence is much better – it’s like a natural side effect!

I’m a new person inside and out. My dress size went from a 14 to an 8 and I have great “before and after pictures” which are better than any “gastric bypass before and after pictures”. My friends and family can’t stop complimenting me on the way I look. I have a busy lifestyle, and now I have the energy to keep up with everything!

Thank you RocaLabs for giving me back my pre-pregnancy weight!

If you are like me and struggling with those extra post pregnancy pounds, I hope you’ll save yourself all the trouble I went through. You have to try this formula and see how easy it is!

Your doctor has recommended that you undergo gastric bypass surgery. But what exactly does that mean?

Gastric Bypass is a surgical procedure used to help a patient lose weight. It is usually recommended to help those who are morbidly obese – meaning that their weight problem has become a serious health risk.

Most severely overweight patients overeat.

Food enters the body through the mouth, travels down the esophagus where it collects in the stomach.

From there, digested food passes into the small intestine. Nutrients taken from the food pass from the small intestine into the bloodstream.

Waste travels to the colon and leaves the body through the anus.
The amount of food that a person eats is partly controlled by appetite. The stomach plays an important role in controlling appetite. When the stomach is empty, a person feels the urge to eat. When the stomach is full, that urge goes away.

Gastric bypass dramatically reduces the size of the stomach. With a smaller stomach, the patient is physically unable to eat large amounts of food. Gastric Bypass also shortens the small intestine so that the body absorbs less of the food eaten.

With less food entering the body, fat stores begin to be used. The patient loses weight.

So make sure that you ask your doctor to carefully explain the reasons behind this recommendation.

Weight Loss Surgery – Christina’s Story – The Nebraska Medical Center

Posted on January 30th, 2011 by admin in bariatric treatment center | 2 Comments »

0 Weight Loss Surgery Christinas Story The Nebraska Medical CenterHow did Christina lose 230 pounds in less than a year?
Christina struggled with her weight her entire life. She reached a point when she knew she had to make a drastic, and life-saving change: weight loss surgery. With the help and guidance of surgeon Dr. Corrigan McBride at The Nebraska Medical Center, Christina has seen her weight drop significantly along with many of the other health problems that used to trouble her.
The surgery she had is called a sleeve gastrectomy, or gastric sleeve surgery works by removing the majority of the patient’s stomach. Not only does this limit what a person is able to eat, but it removes the part of the stomach that makes a person hungry.
The bariatric surgery program at The Nebraska Medical Center has been named a national Center of Excellence by the an American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
