I am in the process of getting gastric bypass surgery and my insurance is care source. Im in the process of doing a 9 months diet . my question is do they often decline you for the surgery and if not is there a any co pay ?

Have you read your summary plan description? There might be information in there. At any rate, if you are declined, insurance plans have an appeal process where your case gets reviewed on it’s own basis and sometimes reversed. Did you call the insurance company and ask if it’s covered, and how much and if you have a co-pay?
